Munro Cleared For Classic Mounts

Alan Munro will be available to ride in this weekend's Irish Classics after being given permission to change the dates of a two-day ban.

The Horseracing Regulatory Authority have agreed to his application to move the suspension.

It means he will be free to partner Jeremy Noseda's Araafa in the Boylesports Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh on Saturday and Chris Wall's Wake Up Maggie in the 1000 Guineas the following day.

He looked like missing the rides as those were the original dates of the suspension given to him at Brighton on May 16.

After partnering Perfect Treasure to victory in the STS Flooring Maiden Stakes, the local stewards penalised him for using his whip with excessive frequency, with his arm above shoulder height and without time to respond.

He will now sit out the ban on May 29 and May 30.
