Murphy likes Diamonds for Oaks Oisin Murphy believes Diamonds Pour Moi can sparkle in the Investec Oaks at Epsom on Friday. The Irish-born rider teams up with the Ralph Beckett-trained filly, who was only beaten a length when third to Somehow in the Cheshire Oaks last month on what was only her second racecourse appearance. "She's got a similar profile to Look Here, who got beat at Lingfield before winning the Oaks off a mark of 94. This filly runs off 95," Murphy told Racing UK. "Minding might be very hard to beat, but my filly is drawn two and she's straightforward. "She is by a Derby winner and is not short of pace. "She's quite a slight, small filly, but is as tough as nails and I don't see the track and the hurly-burly of Epsom being a problem." Hugo Palmer is happy to let Architecture take her chance after she earned a place when running Seventh Heaven to a neck in the Lingfield Oaks Trial. "I never go to the races thinking I'm going to win, but I always go there believing I can win," said the Newmarket trainer. "If you don't believe that, then you should go somewhere else. "I believe Architecture can win and that's why she will be there. We are all in it to try and win these great races, that's the dream." Somehow and Seventh Heaven were also among the nine fillies declared, while their trainer Aidan O'Brien is also responsible for hot favourite Minding. The filly bids to become the first horse since Kazzia in 2002 to complete 1000 Guineas-Oaks double. However, she goes into the mile-and-a-half showpiece on the back of a defeat in the Irish equivalent when she was beaten into second place by Jet Setting after suffering a minor head injury leaving the stalls. There is a fourth Irish challenger in Jim Bolger's Turret Rocks, who was sixth behind Minding at Newmarket. Skiffle was the only supplementary entry at the confirmation stage and the Goodwood Listed winner takes her chance for Godolphin and trainer Charlie Appleby. The line-up is completed by David Elsworth's Australian Queen and Harlequeen from Mick Channon's stable.
