Murphy Maps Hurdles Campaign For Swamp Irish November Handicap winner Swamp Fox has the choice of the Bar One Racing Hatton's Grace Hurdle or the Unibet Fighting Fifth Hurdle as his next port of call. Joe Murphy's admirable dual-purpose performer finished second in the Galway Hurdle in August. The five-year-old is more than capable under both codes and Murphy quite fancies the idea of taking him to Britain for the first time. "We're aiming for the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle and he's in the Hatton's Grace at Fairyhouse as well, so it will be one or the other," said Murphy. "He's rated 155 now so it sort of rules handicaps out, even though I know he was second in the Galway Hurdle. "You find at this time of year you can be giving plenty of weight away to the second-season hurdlers. "There's good money in the better races and they are usually pretty small fields. "So, it will either be the Fighting Fifth or the Hatton's Grace and we'll decide nearer the time."
