Murphy stars bid to shine at Punchestown Colm Murphy will saddle a number of high profile performers at the 2012 Punchestown Festival including Big Zeb, who will be attempting to defend his Boylesports.com Champion Chase crown on Tuesday, April 24th, after a gritty victory over arch rival Sizing Europe at the meeting last year. "Big Zeb will run in the Boylesports.com Champion Chase - he has come out of his last race at Cheltenham in really good order," added Murphy. "We were a bit disappointed with his run at Cheltenham, but saying that, he has probably run his race. I would hope we could get a bit closer to Sizing Europe at Punchestown, but like I say, I will only be hoping. "I'm not sure if he is suited better to Punchestown rather than Cheltenham because he has run so well at both tracks, but every year he is that bit older going back." Voler La Vedette ran the race of her life to finish second to Big Buck's in the Ladbrokes World Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and Murphy is looking forward to renewing her rivalry with Willie Mullins' star mare Quevega in the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown on Thursday, April 26th. Murphy continued: "All going well Voler La Vedette will go for the Ladbrokes.com World Series Hurdle at Punchestown. She has come out of her Cheltenham run exceptionally well and we're hoping that if she runs as well as she did in Cheltenham she will run a big race against Quevega."
