Joe Murphy is hoping the ground at the Curragh does not dry out too much so he can run Only Mine in the TRM Ballyogan Stakes on Saturday.

The filly beat the colts in imperious fashion last weekend at Naas in the Lacken Stakes when there was more cut in the ground.

Second twice in Group Three company last season, it was no surprise to her connections that she ran out a ready winner, but they are concerned about the drying ground this week.

"She came out of the race grand and is in great form," said Murphy.

"Our only concern is the ground, it's been a dry week and there's no sign of any rain.

"We've walked it and it is fine at present, they've put plenty of water on but if there's any firm in it we'd have to think again.

"She was so impressive last week and the sectional times suggested they went an even pace throughout, and that usually means you can trust the form.

"She's getting a three-year-old allowance, which should help, but obviously she's running against older horses who are more battle-hardened and street-wise.

"Her draw in eight is fine and all the signs are good, apart from the ground.

"When you go through the race, it's very strong. Ainippe is a smart filly at her best and won it last year, while Eddie Lynam's filly (Fort Del Oro) was impressive first time out but looked like she didn't like the soft ground last time. Tommy Stack's filly (Diamond Fields) looks like one who will progress."

The last time a filly trained in Britain was successful was in 2010 when Clive Cox's Gilt Edge Girl won.

Mick Channon last won it with Great Deeds in 1994 and t his year sends over Divine, a Listed winner at Pontefract last season.

"It is a long time since we won this race, so it's about time we won it again," said Channon.

"We're sending Divine over and she ran really well over in Dubai. She had a break and then ran OK at Nottingham the other day.

"She's already a Listed winner so it would be nice to grab a Group Three with her."

Willie Muir's Fine Blend, third to Easton Angel at York recently, and Sir Mark Prescott's Marsha also make the journey over.

David Wachman's Most Beautiful, winner of a Group Three from Only Mine last season, is another in the mix.
