Adrian Murray is eager to see Elegant Man on turf after the AMO Racing colt landed a big pot in Newcastle on Good Friday.

The son of Arrogate has created a good impression on all-weather surfaces in winning his two starts at Dundalk, in addition to a Listed runner-up berth at Kempton, before quickening away over an extended mile and a-quarter in Newcastle.

Murray said: “Elegant Man is great. He’s entered for the Lockinge and the Coronation Cup, and where he’ll go we’ll have to wait and see.

“I’d say he’ll have no problem on grass. We ran him one day in a schooling race on grass when it was soft and it didn’t bother him in the slightest.

“He’s a beautiful horse — you couldn’t draw a horse as nice.”
