Murtagh has Renaissance in mind for Royal Bay Cen Royal Bay Cen could make her return to action in the Group 3 Qatar Racing And Equestrian Club Renaissance Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. Johnny Murtagh's charge has been off since finishing a close fourth in the same grade at Naas in May. The trainer said: “She’s going to work in the morning (Tuesday) and hopefully run in the Renaissance Stakes at the weekend. “We were just waiting on the ground. We just got a bit held up after her last run and then the ground was so quick. “She’s been ready to run for a while and I think she’ll benefit from soft ground.” Royal Bay Cen won by a whopping nine lengths at Listed level in Cork on stable debut for Murtagh, having also scored twice when trained in France by Henri-Francois Devin.
