Murtagh pair ready for Ebor Johnny Murtagh will run two horses Mirann and Sonnyboyliston in York's Ebor Handicap next Saturday. Kildare Racing Club's Sonnyboyliston is a four-time winner and whose latest win was gained in Limerick's Martin Molony Stakes in June, while Miraan was fourth in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes at Royal Ascot in June. Murtagh reports “both horses are going and are training very well. We’ve been thinking about the race for a while. “Mirann will hopefully be heading on to Melbourne after that. Sonnyboyliston is also entered in the Melbourne Cup but we are not sure what his plan is after the Ebor. “Both horses are ready for the Ebor.”
