Musselburgh goes ahead Friday's fixture at Musselburgh has survived an early-morning precautionary inspection and goes ahead as scheduled. Although an assessment of conditions was required, clerk of the course Anthea Morshead was always optimistic the jumps fixture would defeat the cold snap. Morshead: "It's currently plus 2C and we dipped to minus 1.5C overnight, but only for a couple of hours. "There's no frost in the ground so we're good to race."
