Naas and Navan ground eases

The ground at Naas is now yielding to soft following 25mm of rain yesterday and overnight at the Kildare track.

The forecast is generally dry for today but there is a high risk of showers over the weekend.

The action at Naas feature the Grade 3 Fishery Lane Hurdle which has been won in recent years by the likes of Jezki and Unaccompanied.

Navan is now soft, yielding to soft in places ahead of Sunday's card which features the Grade 2 Ladbrokes Ireland Fortria Chase.

The course received 18mm of rain in past 20 hours and there is a risk of scattered showers in the area.

Limerick also race on Sunday and the going there is now yielding, good to yielding in places following 16mm of rain overnight.

The inside track will be used and the forecast is for scattered showers.
