Naas going update The going at Naas ahead of Ascot Trials Day remains good, good to firm in places. Watering has taken place and, selective watering will continue throughout the morning. Stalls will be in the centre of the track for all sprints, with seven yards of fresh ground on the inside and, three yards of fresh ground on the outside. Forecast is for a dry, warm afternoon, with temperatures in early 20's. The Group 3 Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Blackbeard Fillies Sprint Stakes (Fillies), which is due off at 4.03 sees the clash of leading juveniles Lady Iman and Simply Astounding. The former is unbeaten in two starts to date, while the Aidan O'Brien trained filly made an impressive winning debut over course and distance. Later on the card, Whistlejacket and Babouche renew rivalry in the Group 3 Goffs Lacken Stakes(4.33). The latter came out on top when the pair met at the Curragh last year but, Whistlejacket is favourite to overturn that form this afternoon.
