Naas unlikely to race tomorrow

The prospect of today's cancelled meeting at Naas being rescheduled for tomorrow appears remote as manager Tom Ryan reports no great improvement in conditions at the Co. Kildare track.

'The course is still unraceable with snow lying on the track. We were due to make a decision around now regarding the possibility of racing on Monday instead but, with temperatures failing to rise significantly, hand on heart I could not see the course being fit to race tomorrow,” said Ryan at 1.45pm today.

He added, “We will have further discussions with HRI and our main sponsors Paddy Power to see if we can come up with a suitable later date.”
