The going at Navan is Heavy again despite there being no major overnight rain. The high winds from yesterday have calmed down considerably but it is still quite cold.

Also, as was the case yesterday, the 4th last fence will be omitted today from all chases.

Sean Quinlan deputises for the injured Davy Russell in the 1st race aboard Laragh House. Russell took a heavy fall yesterday from Coast To Coast and has been stood down until at least tomorrow depending on the outcome of some x-rays.

Also in the opener, Drumdell's Biddy suffered a stone bruise and Paul Nolan has withdrawn her from the contest.

Shay Barry has incurred a chest infection and will not be riding today. Mark Darcy substitutes on Franchmans Hill in the 3 mile maiden hurdle. Conor O'Dwyer is the replacment jockey for Davy Russell on Mandm. In the same race, Quietly Does It has been taken out ? coughing.

Windfall Tax is a non-runner in the opportunity handicap hurdle with a nasal discharge being the reason.

Private Ben is off his feed so Jessica Harrington has taken him out of the EBF beginners chase while Tom Ryan steps in for Davy Russell aboard Carroll Encore.

Conor O'Dwyer replaces the injured Davy Russell in the handicap chase aboard The Penitent Man.

Barry Geraghty will now ride Crimson Flower in the final race of the day, and Barry Cash is the very able replacement for Russell on How Is Things.
