Paul Nolan has the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury in mind for Conyers Hill.

While entered at the Dublin Racing Festival this weekend, Nolan is favouring a trip to the UK for the Buzzer Racing Syndicate-owned six-year-old.

Already successful at Clonmel and Cork this season, the Walk In The Park bay has performed with credit on his most recent starts, finishing third and fifth respectively.

"Conyers Hill is also entered at Leopardstown but will more than likely go for the Betfair Hurdle in Newbury the following weekend," Nolan indicated.

"He's been allocated 3lb more than his Irish mark which is not too bad.

"The last day we overdid the waiting tactics, and he ran well the previous day in Fairyhouse.

"He seems to be after settling better and we won't have to drop him out as far. I'd like to ride a handier waiting race more so than drop right out as you need a lot of luck in running.

"The length of the straight in Newbury suits a horse ridden that way and you may not have to rely so much on luck."
