Nice ground at Downpatrick

It looks to be perfect jumping ground at Downpatrick for this afternoon's meeting with the course issuing a slight change this morning.

The going is now good, yielding in places at the northern venue ahead of their seven-race national hunt card.

The description at declaration had been good to yielding.

Cork is now yielding to soft, soft in places following 7mm of rain overnight.

The original going there had been yielding to soft for their seven-race jumps fixture.

Fairyhouse is heavy ahead of their meeting on Sunday while Sligo is good to soft, good in places.

The forecast is for showers, some heavy, today while it will be mainly dry on Saturday and Sunday.

Killarney's festival meeting starts on Monday and the ground there is currently soft, soft to heavy in places following 2mm of rain overnight.
