Trained by Willie Mullins for the Havent A Pot Partnership, Night Moon proved 'different gravy' to his 17 rivals in Fairyhouse's handicap over one mile, six furlongs.

Easy to back at 6/1 (from 3s on the show), the Sea The Moon gelding came there cruising two furlongs out and went away to score by seven and a-half lengths from Maeve Brennan

“It was straightforward, the only worry going out was the draw (18)," said winning rider Ben Coen.

“Willie was happy with him at home. He relaxed, travelled into the race well, picked up and hit the line strong.

“He stays well and he relaxes so he’ll probably get a little bit further if you need him to.”

It was Night Moon's first win since an eight and a-half length romp at Listowel on his final start for David Marnane in 2023.
