Tom Taaffe is not expecting the three-mile-five-furlong distance of tomorrow's Irish Grand National to be a problem for Ninetieth Minute, a winner at this track in February.

Taaffe told At The Races: "I wouldn't see the trip as a problem, his pedigree suggests he should stay.

"He missed a year and a bit and came back. Racing was called off in Navan one day because of frost, so he wasn't able to start his campaign until January.

"He lacks a bit of experience for a National, but having said that he has run a few times round Fairyhouse.

"He has finished second and won there this year and the form is pretty respectable."

Meanwhile, Gordon Elliott's Roi Du Mee heads the weights and was third in the Bobbyjo Chase here on his penultimate start.

Elliott said: "He has a lot of weight and the trip is a little into the unknown. He's won two Grade Twos for us and a good few races. He has been a good servant."
