Trainer Michael Bell and representatives of his owners the Royal Ascot Racing Club are discussing whether the son of Montjeu should go for the Budweiser Irish Derby on June 26 or wait a week to take on the older horses in the Coral-Eclipse. 'No decision has been made at this stage - we are still in discussion and won´t know for a few days,' said racing manager Harry Herbert. 'We are in no rush to decide as he has had an easy week and has just started cantering again. 'Michael Bell needs to be given time to see how he has come out of the race and to see how he gets on for the next week or so before we know.' (C) PA Sport
