NO PREP FOR ANZUM Anzum will head to next month`s Cheltenham Festival without the benefit of a prep race after a slight setback ruled the 10-year-old out the Rendlesham Hurdle at Kempton Park tomorrow. 'He`s just knocked a hind leg,' the gelding`s trainer Richard Phillips explained today. 'It`s nothing serious but I wouldn`t run him. It`s not worth the risk - it could have stirred something up - because Cheltenham is the main target. 'There isn`t anything else for him now so he`ll go straight to the Festival.' Anzum is a 7-1 chance with Ladbrokes to repeat his victory of 1999 in the Bonusprint Stayers` Hurdle on March 15. Teaatral, also a 7-1 chance for the Cheltenham contest, is one of five overnight declarations for the Grade Two Rendlesham Hurdle. Charlie Egerton`s gelding won the race last year, beating one of tomorrow`s rivals Merry Masquerade. Also in the line-up are Katarino, successful in the 1999 Triumph Hurdle, the Lawrence Wells-trained Audacter and disappointing chaser Soldat. Earlier on the card nine runners will line up for the Grade Two Dovecote Novices` Hurdle including the highly-regarded St Pirran and Lingfield Derby Trial runner-up Going Global, who will be making his jumping debut.
