No problems at Naas and Clonmel Naas report no problems ahead of their meeting on Wednesday with manager Tom Ryan calling the track 100 per cent today. Heavy rain last night caused the abandonment of today's fixture at Limerick but the Kildare course escaped the worst of the weather. “We've had 25mm of rain since Friday evening and the ground is currently soft to heavy, heavy in places,” said Ryan. “The ground is remarkably good given the rain and it's another example of the benefit of the drainage work we carried out during the summer. “At the moment there is no doubt that we will race. There are a few little showers forecast, some heavy, but nothing too serious.” Similarly Clonmel don't see any problems ahead of their meeting on Thursday which is set to feature the Clonmel Oil Chase. “The ground has been officially changed to heavy but it's perfectly raceable and there is a lot of new ground,” said Eugene Cooney, marketing manager at the course. “The forecast is for fine weather Tuesday and Wednesday and although there is rain forecast for Thursday we don't foresee any problems. “The sun is shining at the moment and we're told we are over the worst of the weather. The track dries out quickly as well.”
