The Danny Murphy-trained gelding held on well to beat Misappropriation by a length and a quarter with 6/5 favourite Gazelle D’or half a length further back in third. Murphy said, “There was no pace angle because Hugo’s Girl (non-runner, stiff) is normally in front, and we got a soft lead. He loves a rail beside him. “Six is perfect for him and he’s a good little money spinner.”
