Noblesse next on agenda for Unaccompanied A tilt at the Noblesse Stakes at Cork is next on the agenda for Unaccompanied following her excellent run in defeat in the Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan. Dermot Weld's dual Grade One-winning hurdler had made a triumphant return to the Flat at Navan in April and stepped up in class to tackle last year's Gold Cup winner Fame And Glory on Sunday. Although Unaccompanied came up short, she was far from disgraced in finishing a close-up second. Weld's five-year-old mare will now bid for a first Group-race prize on the level on June 17th. "It was a terrific run and we were delighted with her," said Stan Cosgrove, racing manager for owners Moyglare Stud. "She's a very good mare over hurdles and on the Flat and all going well she'll go for the Noblesse Stakes at Cork next. She won't be going to Royal Ascot." One Moyglare-owned filly who is set for Ascot is last week's Blue Wind Stakes winner Princess Highway. The three-year-old will bid to emulate her mother Irresistible Jewel by landing the Ribblesdale Stakes. "She's a nice filly and she's going to run in the Ribblesdale," said Cosgrove. "Her mother won that race so we're looking forward to running her as well. "Hopefully she'll get the mile and a half."
