Nolan hoping Ascot dries up

Paul Nolan is hoping the ground dries at Ascot out to help Cuan Na Grai in his bid for glory in The Ladbroke on Saturday.

"All being well he'll go over and take his chance," said the County Wexford-based handler.

"We didn't go chasing with him because of the heavy ground over here in the last couple of months so we said we'd stay over hurdles.

"Hopefully the ground won't be worse than good to soft. I believe it's soft over there at the moment but there's no rain forecast for the rest of the week."
