Noseda Unveils Breeders' Plans Jeremy Noseda admits his two chief Breeders' Cup candidates, Strike The Deal and Simply Perfect, are not certain to stay the distance in their respective races at Monmouth Park. The Newmarket trainer has already managed a victory at the world-famous meeting through Wilko's surprise victory in the Juvenile three years ago.He has another live two-year-old chance in the Juvenile Turf through Strike The Deal, who was a close second to Dark Angel on his last two starts.Noseda said: 'I felt possibly the defeat in the Mill Reef was fair and square and he was beaten by a better horse on the day.'But in the Middle Park he stumbled out of the stalls and got a little too far back.'I thought we might have been a shade unlucky but he ran a brave race.'He's a tough, hardy horse with lots of experience, which is a big advantage for going out there on an oval track.'Getting the trip well over a mile has to be a question mark, but personally I am quite confident he will stay it on a flat, American oval.'His form stacks up well and he has to go there with a big chance.'Simply Perfect, who took the Falmouth Stakes at the Newmarket July meeting, goes for the Filly & Mare Turf.Noseda added: 'She's a tough, honest filly and I felt in the Sun Chariot last time (when fourth) she was a bit ring-rusty and I am sure she has moved on from that.'The question mark again is the trip. My gut feeling is that she gets a mile and two furlongs in England so she should get a mile and three eighths in America.'She had a bit of a break after her run at Deauville and either this or the EP Taylor Stakes was always the aim.'Rahiyah could join the pair by dropping back to six furlongs for the Filly & Mare Sprint ? but is not a certain starter.Noseda explained: 'The situation is that I feel she will be very well suited by the dirt and the American style of racing but we need to speak to (owner) Sheikh Rashid and his team and see if they want to go.'The horses will leave Stansted Airport at 2pm on Sunday afternoon and we are looking at a trip of about 14 hours, door-to-door.'(C) PA Sport
