Not In A Hurry swooped on the run-in to land the SIS Supporting Irish Racing Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan for Aidan Howard.

The JP McManus-owned gelding had been third on his debut here last month and went to post an 11/4 shot today.

Simon Torrens was rowing along in third on his mount before the final flight but he stayed on to challenge over the last.

The son of Walk In The Park got to the front in the closing stages to beat long-time leaders, and 4/5 favourite, Tutu Twist by a length-and-a-quarter.

Racing manager Frank Berry said:- "He had a nice run here the last day in a similar sort of race.

“I'd say the bit of ease in the ground was a help to him. He got a grand ride from Simon and he did it well. He'll tip away now in handicaps."
