Former Group One performer Top Notch Tonto heads Brian Ellison's annual team heading to the Galway Festival this week.

The Malton handler, who recently passed the 1,000 winner milestone, is a regular visitor to the Ballybrit venue.

Festival regular Baraweez will take in two races again for the third year in a row and is on a hat-trick, having won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ahonoora' Handicap for the last two years.

Recent Ayr winner Dream Walker and the former Sir Henry Cecil-trained Stipulate are also in his team.

"Top Notch Tonto should be well handicapped now," said Ellison.

"His work has been as good as ever this season, the problem is in the races he's run in they've gone no gallop and then sprinted.

"They've walked and then quickened, that doesn't suit him, but they won't be walking in Galway, that's for sure.

"We'll claim 7lb off him, too, and that should help. He'll probably run Tuesday in the BMW and then the Ahonoora on Sunday.

"We'll also claim off Dream Walker when he runs, he's been hammered by the handicapper for his win at Ayr.

"Then, of course, we'll have Baraweez, who loves it there, and Stipulate is also in the Ahonoora.

"I don't know what Baraweez likes about the place, you never know if they'll take to it but he loves it.

"I love going, it's such good money, too, we've got one in a mares' hurdle worth 30,000 euro.

"I don't know why more don't go."
