Nugent rides first 'track' winner on family-owned Frankie Onlyforfrankie (12/1) gave Evan Nugent his first winner under Rules when taking the Connolly's RED MILLS INH Flat Race at Roscommon in decisive fashion. The Court Cave gelding, fourth on racecourse debut at Kilbeggan, made smooth headway from mid-division approaching the home straight and led two furlongs out before staying on well to beat Minnatrix by six and a half lengths. Brian McMahon trains the five-year-old for the winning rider's mother Yvonne.  Winning rider Evan Nugent said: "I'm thrilled, it couldn’t have gone any better really.  “He just brought me everywhere I wanted to go. I couldn’t believe turning in that I was travelling so well. “It’s a dream come true. I’ve two point-to-point winners and this is only my fourth or fifth ride on the track. It’s unbelievable to get it. “In Kilbeggan things just didn’t go my way, I ran into traffic and everything. When I hit the line I was very disappointed in myself but I’m just delighted he did the business today. “I was always thought he was good enough to do that so I was thrilled. “I’m 22 and from Clare. I live in Ennis and ride out for Derek O’Connor, Brian McMahon and John Staunton. Point-to-pointing is my main game but it’s nice to get one on the track as well.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
