Jockey Patrick O'Brien recorded a double on the card when getting up close home on Small Bucks to win the John Fairbrother Memorial Mares Handicap Hurdle at Tramore.

Owned and trained by Pat Collins, the five-year-old was returning to form following a below-par run at the Galway festival last time.

Staying on strongly from the back of the last, the 17/2 chance got up close home to beat Rare Times by a neck.

Pat Collins said: "The ground in Galway was too soft for her and she didn't act on it. She needs that good ground. She needs to hear her feet rattling off the ground. The horses are running well for us at the moment."
