O'Brien eyes Chester for Emmeleia Donnacha O'Brien's recent Dundalk winner Emmeleia could be sent to Chester with a view to the Betfred Oaks in Epsom afterwards. On her second start on the Polytrack, she beat her stablemate Eretria by three-quarters of a length in an extended 10-furlong fillies' maiden and that form received a healthy boost when Eretria delivered by a wide margin in a fillies' maiden at Leopardstown yesterday. O'Brien said: “She could go to Chester, just to see if she is an Epsom filly. “She’s probably a little bit different type to this one (Eretria), she’s very laid-back and will probably stay a little bit better than her. “She could go to Chester or she could go to the Salsabil Stakes (Group 3, Navan). “I’m kind of training her for Chester and we’ll see what happens.” Emmeleia also holds an entry in the Juddmonte Irish Oaks at the Curragh in July.
