Aidan O'Brien must have enjoyed the dramatic win of Waterville in yesterday's Irish Cesarewitch after which he issued an update on his running plans for Arc weekend.

“Luxembourg is in good form and the Arc is the plan. Everything has went well since Leopardstown and it’s a case of so far so good.

“Broome would also be a possible for the Arc. We might just run the two as we are thinking of going to the Cadran with Kyprios.

“Aesop’s Fables is a possible for the Prix Jean-luc Lagardere and Cairo, who won a maiden at the Curragh last month, could also be supplemented for it.

“In the Boussac we could run Never Ending Story who was fourth in the Moyglare.

“Tenebrism might go for the Foret over seven furlongs and Tuesday may go for the fillies race. Glounthane might go for a mile colts’ race.”
