O'Brien wins inaugural Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship

Joseph O'Brien was crowned the inaugural winner of the Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship, taking home €3,000 of Plusvital nutritional supplement or genetic testing products as a result of his win.

The trainer recorded 12 winners throughout the eight summer series race meetings at the track. Dermot Weld, Jessica Harrington, Aidan O’Brien and Jim Bolger filled the remaining top five places, with a total of 29 individual trainers recording winners during the summer series.

O'Brien said: “We are delighted to win the inaugural Plusvital Leopardstown Trainers Championship and winning an award such as a leading trainer is testimony to the hard work of all our staff and jockeys.

This year has been a testing year for everyone with the Covid-19 pandemic continuing and we would like to thank Plusvital for their generous sponsorship especially in the current climate.
