Starspangledbanner possesses a huge reputation and will be having his first run for Aidan O'Brien when he lines up in the Duke Of York Blue Square Stakes. And O'Brien is clearly excited at unleashing the four-year-old, a dual Group One winner over a mile and six furlongs. "He came to us after his last run. He went into quarantine and then straight on the plane," he said. "I don't know what will happen, but he is not slow. "He is very quick and it will be interesting to see how he gets on. I have told Johnny (Murtagh) that he needs to wear a neck brace and a parachute. "His top gear is so fast in his homework and I hope we shows us here what he showed in Australia."
