Michael O'Callaghan is hopeful of a big run from the progressive Night Sparkle at Newmarket this afternoon.

The daughter of Postponed has won her last three starts, following up a maiden hurdle win at Punchestown with victories in middle-distance Flat handicaps at Fairyhouse and Newbury.

The four-year-old landed a 50k fillies' handicap at the latter venue last month and runs off top weight in a similar contest today, the JenningsBet Fillies' Handicap over 1m6f.

“She’s come out of the race in Newbury very well and is in great form at home, " said the Curragh trainer.

"She’s progressing all the time. I think she won snug enough the last time and she’s gone up 3lb.

“James Doyle rides. I’ve had this race in mind since the last day and I’d be hopeful of her running well again.”
