Brian O'Connell recorded his first treble at Listowel last week, and the in-from jockey could be among the winners again on the 188BET-sponsored card at Wexford on Wednesday.

O'Connell has made a bright start to the new season with eight winners already on the board, and Emma Beag has solid claims in the three-mile maiden hurdle.

The Liz Doyle-trained mare failed to complete in her first two outings last year but, following a winter break, ran a cracker in a two-mile-three-furlong Clonmel maiden hurdle when beating all bar Sarah Joyce.

The daughter of Westerner was putting in her best work at the finish, and should relish this test of stamina.

The Limerick rider also has prospects later on this seven-race fixture with Lilly The Lioness in the two-mile handicap chase.

Garrett Power's charge has scored five times in the past two seasons, including at the Galway Festival last summer, and she should strip fitter following a recent outing at Ballinrobe.

The nine-year-old mare fell at the last when set to score at Tipperary last autumn, and may have most to fear now from Tisamystery and The Conker Club.

The father and son team of Tony and Danny Mullins were on the mark with Ballinaboola Lass at Clonmel last Friday, and she could well follow up in the two-and-a-quarter-mile handicap hurdle.

A change in tactics proved successful on that occasion as she made most of the running to score in fine style, and the six-year-old mare is effectively 4lb well-in here with a 6lb mandatory penalty as she is set to race off a mark of 91 in future.

Joseph O'Brien could send out another winner with Cradle Mountain in the two-and-a-half-mile maiden hurdle, while the Tom Gibney-trained To Choose also appeals in the two-mile handicap hurdle.
