When Eddie O'Connell suffered a 'turn away from the telly' fall from Baracas in the Boylesports.com Hurdle last weekend many feared the worst but the leading conditional rider could be back in action just a fortnight after the kicking he received at Leopardstown.

His agent Niall Cronin said today: "There is nothing broken anyway which is great news. All going well he'll be back for next weekend."

O'Connell got a clean bill of health in the hospital at Naas on Friday and with just Thurles scheduled for next Thursday, the Kildare native can continue his return to A1 condition over the next few days ahead of Naas on Saturday 11th and Leopardstown on Sunday 12th.
