O'Donoghue and Lynch out injured Jockeys Colm O'Donoghue and Fergal Lynch both face spells on the sidelines after breaking their collar-bones at Limerick on Friday evening. O'Donoghue was unseated from Diamond Lucy after the filly appeared to clip the heels of Two Auld Pals in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden. The rider was taken to his local hospital for X-rays, which confirmed a broken collarbone. O'Donoghue said: "It was a nasty one and I might need an operation on Monday or Tuesday. "It could have been a lot worse, though, as jumps jockeys go through this sort of thing all the time. "I'll probably be out for around a month, but there's nothing I can do about it." Lynch sustained identical injuries after he fell from Beat The Bell at Limerick on Friday evening. The David Nagle-trained eight-year-old was brought down one furlong from home in the Ballyduane Stud Handicap. Lynch, who is now based in Ireland, said: "It's a clean break so hopefully I'll be back in a few weeks. "The collarbone has been strapped up and I need to go back to hospital for X-rays in a few weeks to check to see if things are OK. "Things have been going well so hopefully I can freshen up and have a good back-end to the season."
