O'Keeffe completes Ballinrobe double Early jockeys’ championship-leader Darragh O’Keeffe completed a Ballinrobe double today, completing the feat in the Corrib Oil Beginners Chase on the Henry De Bromhead-trained Rusty Harkness (5/2jf), in the Honeysuckle-colours of owner Kenny Alexander. The homebred son of Walk In The Park made virtually at all the running and held on well to score by 1.5 lengths from Fou De Toi . O'Keeffe, earlier successful on the Philip Rothwell-trained Ocean Murphy, reported “Rusty Harkness jumped well at Limerick, but I was taking him back and didn't make enough use of him. Today, I said I'd let him gallop and jump, and he gave an exhibition. Every time I got a length, I was able to keep it and long or short, he was brilliant. "It was good to win his maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan, but he's a huge, big horse and fences are his thing. He likes a bit of nice ground and stays well. Hopefully, he has a bright future."
