O'Neill hopeful of lively show from Irish National runner The Boylesports Irish National takes place next Monday and trainer Jonjo O’Neill is likely to be represented by Time To Get Up. Jonjo won the Irish National with Shutthefrontdoor when Barry Geraghty did the steering back in 2014. O'Neill spoke to Dave Keena and he says that the Presenting gelding, who started off his career with Joseph O'Brien, comes into the race in good form after a fine effort when third to Screaming Colours in the Midlands National, a race he won as a novice in 2021. “He ran a really creditable race the last day. They might just go a bit quick for him at Fairyhouse but he’s in good form and it’ll be his last run (of the season) so we’ll give it a good shot. “He’s a lightly-raced horse (the nine-year-old has run just ten times) but that is for a reason because he’s obviously got his issues. He’s in grand form and if he turns up like he did at Uttoxeter then he’ll put up a good old show."
