Oodachee retired Trainer Charlie Swan has retired his nine time winner Oodachee, the gelding having been pulled up in the Latin Quarter Chase at Galway today. Swan reported “we have decided to retire Oodachee as he is just finding it a bit tough to win nowadays and needs to be freshened up to run well each time.” “He has been a fantastic servant and was placed in two Galway Plates, at Cheltenham and over the National fences at Liverpool so he owes us nothing. He will probably be used as a riding horse when settles into retirement.”
