Options open for Daiquiri Connections of Strawberrydaiquiri are considering the options for their star filly following her pleasing run in last week's Nassau Stakes at Goodwood. The four-year-old was tackling 10 furlongs for the first time in that Group One event and she kept on well to claim fourth behind Midday. Previously successful over shorter trips at Group Two and Three level, the Sir Michael Stoute-trained runner has plenty of options with her team keen to bag a victory at the highest level. "She has come out of the race well," said Gary Coffey, racing manager to owner Renata Jacobs. "We haven't decided where we are going next, we are just going to evaluate all options. She is entitled to stay at the top table. "We haven't identified any particular Group One, but she is entered in all the top races and we are looking at all options. "She is going to have to tell us how she is, but we will certainly be looking towards running her again this year. She does appreciate a little bit of give in the ground. "She was staying on and finished her race well so anything between a mile and 10 furlongs is within her range. "She is a well-balanced filly so she handles the undulations well. We would not be afraid of running her over a stiff 10 furlongs somewhere if the opportunity were to arise. "I will know more after talking with Sir Michael later in the week."
