Options open for Devonshire Devonshire is in the frame for a trip to Royal Ascot following her excellent effort when third in the Irish 1,000 Guineas. Trainer Willie McCreery has identified the seven-furlong Jersey Stakes as a possible option for the Godolphin-owned filly, although a number of factors, including the ground, will be taken into consideration. He said: "I was delighted with her run in the Guineas. She's tough and honest and has a number of options now. "She could go to Royal Ascot and the Jersey Stakes has been mentioned as a possibility. She has had three hard races this year already, though, and it would be tough taking on the colts. I also don't really want to run her on fast ground. "I have my eye on a few other races as well so we'll have to have a think about it before we decide what to do."
