Oscar shortens for Aintree The Martin Lynch trained Oscar Time continues to attract solid support for the Aintree Grand National on April 9, to provide the Waley-Cohen family with a famous double. Since Long Run's win in last week's Gold Cup at Cheltenham, Oscar Time's price has steadily shortened and he is now generally a 12/1 shot for the Aintree showpiece. Sam Waley-Cohen, successful on Long Run at Cheltenham and earlier in the King George Chase at Kempton, is bidding to become the first amateur rider to win the Grand National since Marcus Armitage, on Mr Frisk, in 1990.
