O'Sullevan home from hospital Sir Peter O'Sullevan is back home after being discharged from hospital on Friday morning. The 95-year-old retired BBC commentator had been in London's Charing Cross Hospital since suffering a mild stroke on Sunday. O'Sullevan was about to be sent home on Thursday but suffered a nosebleed and was kept in another night for observation. Mike Dillon, the PR director for Ladbrokes and a close friend of O'Sullevan's, said: "He's nicely ensconced in his flat. He's happy to be out and happy to be home. "They kept him in overnight to monitor him in case there were any issues after his nosebleed, but he's fine."
