Ouija On Course For Eclipse

Ouija Board is set for a tilt at the Coral-Eclipse Stakes on Saturday week providing she satisfies Ed Dunlop in a gallop next Wednesday.

The stunning winner of the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot is reported to have taken those exertions in her stride and will be declared for the Sandown contest at the five-day stage.

The 10-furlong event is looking the preferred option for Ouija Board's connections as the alternative mid-summer target is the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes, for which the Cape Cross mare would have to be supplemented.

Dunlop said: 'She has taken last week's race very well and put back on all the weight she lost.

'I shall declare her for the Eclipse on Monday and subject to her working satisfactorily in midweek she is likely to go to Sandown.

'But a final decision will not be made until after she has worked.'
