Paddy Dunican funeral arrangements Kilbeggan Racecourse manager Paddy Dunican, who tragically passed away on Saturday, will be buried after 11am Requiem Mass at the Church of St. James (N91CC79) in his hometown on Wednesday. Paddy, who was 61 years of age, had been at the helm at the popular Westmeath venue for over 35 years and during his tenure won the National Hunt Racecourse Manager of the Year award on three separate occasions. Paddy, an auctioneer and well known local businessman, was also awarded the Athlone Business Person of the Year in 2018. Poignantly, Kilbeggan Racecourse is scheduled to stage it's opening race meeting of the new season in just two weeks time on Thursday 25 April. May he rest in peace.
