Pan Jammer fourth The Mick Channon-trained Pan Jammer was only fourth in the Scherping Rennen at Baden-Baden today after being slowly out of the stalls. The three-year-old colt lost all chance when he idled in the stalls and his rider Craig Williams had to push him along for most of the six furlongs and he only managed to hold on to fourth place. The Listed race over six furlongs went to Irish Man trained by Uwe Ostmann and ridden by Jimmy Quinn, who is in his first season as stable jockey for Cologne based trainer Peter Schiergen. Craig Williams said: 'Pan Jammer will have to get some re-education in the stalls as he was also slowly away in his last two races. 'In a way he did well to hold on to fourth especially since he would have preferred the ground to be a bit firmer. He is not the same horse he was as a two year old and might prefer seven furlongs.'
