Last month's Velka Pardubice winner Final Orders is currently on a break and is being aimed at a repeat success in the Cross-Country Chase at the Cheltenham festival next March.

Runner-up in the 2025 Ulster National and winner of the Glenfarclas Cross-Country race at Cheltenham, ten-year-old Final Orders landed the famous Czechia race on October 11 to give his trainer Gavin Cromwell consecutive wins, following Stumptown's breakthrough success of 2025.

Cromwell reports “Final Orders has gone on a break to Garvan Donnelly's (assistant) and will come in with the view of going to Cheltenham in March.

"The trip to Czechia, which took three full days going over and another three days coming home, didn't take as much out of him as it did Stumptown last year but you don't really know of course. To the eye, he has taken it well.

"He doesn't go on winter ground and I'm thinking we'll get one run into him before Cheltenham next March."
