According to forecasts the heaviest rain has now passed.

It is set to be breezy with the possibility of light showers today and tomorrow.

The forecast is mainly dry early on Thursday with rain developing on Thursday night and then turning mainly dry thereafter into the weekend.

Thurles race on Thursday and following 20mm of rain overnight it remains soft, soft to heavy in places on the hurdle track and soft to heavy on the chase course.

High winds are forecast for today with the possibility of 15-20mm of rain prior to racing.
