Trainer Sandra Hughes is keen to step Art Of Payroll up to three miles after being pleased with how he stayed two and three-quarter miles at Punchestown last month. The seven-year-old has since finished third behind Peoples Park over two miles and one furlong at Fairyhouse where it looked as though he would benefit from a longer distance. "Art Of Payroll will go for the Paddy Power Chase if the ground is good or yielding," said Hughes. "He stayed two-mile six at Punchestown, and I think he needs a bit of a trip. "He just can't handle heavy ground at all, so the ground will be the main factor."
