Pendleton & Pacha could reunite at Stratford Victoria Pendleton could be reunited with her Cheltenham Festival mount Pacha Du Polder at Stratford on Friday evening. The Olympic cycling champion performed beyond her wildest expectations when beaten less than three lengths into fifth in the St James's Place Foxhunter Chase in March. Having secured her first win under Rules aboard the Andy Stewart-owned nine-year-old just a fortnight earlier, it was a meritorious display from one with so little experience. Since that effort, Pendleton has been keeping her eye in by regularly riding out at Alan and Lawney Hill's yard in Oxfordshire. Pendleton and Pacha Du Polder could now team up again in the AGA Ladies Open Point-To-Point Championship Final at Stratford. However, there is a chance the Paul Nicholls-trained gelding could run in the Pertemps Network Stratford Foxhunters Champion Hunters' Chase on the same card. If that is the case, Will Biddick would take the ride - as he did at Aintree where the partnership finished sixth behind On The Fringe. Stewart said: "If Pacha Du Polder runs in the ladies' race then Victoria will ride. "If he runs in the Champion Hunters' Chase then Will Biddick will take the mount, but I need to discuss this with Paul. "As he is on holiday at the moment I'm not sure when that will be just yet."
